Dad is now the YM Pres, and so far is loving it. He still works for Global and gets to work from home two days a week. He spends his spare time, what little he gets, playing with the boys. The current favorites I believe are King and Knight, rocket ship, Lego's, memory, get you and Candy Land. He also sneaks in some time to work on his book.
Mom just got called to be Gospel Doctrine Teacher (which was Dad's most recent calling), and after one lesson is still alive, so all is well! She is still able to stay at home with the boys, and enjoys the time she has to teach and play with them.
Ethan is in Pre-school, and LOVES it! He really likes skeletons, bats, and anything scary! He loves to read books, and loves to play outside and ride his bike. He says his best friend is Keller (his cousin), his favorite color is red, his favorite game is "the plane game" Lego's. His favorite book is "The Cat in the Hat", his favorite T.V. show is Curious George, His favorite movie is" Treasure Planet" and "The Very Hungry Caterpillar and other stories", his favorite scripture story is Ammon, his favorite food is Macaroni and Cheese and apples, His favorite toys are his motorcycles and he wants to be an Astronaut and a Knight when he grows up. He is a spectacular older brother, and loves to laugh and make Noah laugh. He is really smart and is always surprising us by repeating lessons back to us. He loves to sing and is always making up words to songs. His favorite songs to sing are Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and I love to See the Temple. His current seasonal favorites are "Black Cat Black Cat", and "Pumpkin Yellow".
Noah is just growing up too fast! He has 4 teeth, his two bottom and his two top. He loves to jabber, point, play ball, crawl up the stairs (though he still can't get back down), and he loves to get into everything, from the Tupperware drawer to the toilet. He loves to take laundry out of baskets and drawers and is always exploring. He is a very observant baby, and will watch things for a while before he gives them a try. My favorite thing that he is doing right now is walking on his knees. He doesn't quite have walking down, but has figured out that if he walks on his knees it frees up his hands, and so as long as he isn't trying to keep up w/ E he will walk on his knees. He loves his little elephant and gives it "loves" all the time. He is such a sweet boy and is learning so quickly! He also officially has a first word "baoo" (balloon)! He is so fascinated by them and for one reason or another we have had an abundance of balloons at our house for the last month, so he will point to the balloon on the celling and say "baoo, baoo" and then grin when we hand him the ribbon. He also will nod or shake his head if you ask him a question. For instance, "Noah do you want a bottle?" nod yes, "Noah are you ready for bed?" shake no. In case I haven't mentioned it already he LOVES E and wants to be just like him. He goes where E is, wants to do what E does, and laughs hysterically whenever E does something funny.
